At the 2011 National Conference on Substance Abuse, Child Welfare and the Courts, "Putting the Pieces Together for Children and Families," National DEC was proud to honor these outstanding individual whose work has successfully created, enhanced, and promoted organizational change and effective collaborative practices to address the issue of substance use disorders among families in treatment, criminal justice, child welfare, and/or dependency court systems.

Criteria for the Collaborative Leadership Awards
The Nominee:

Has promoted effective relationships among systems over a sustained period of time

Demonstrates leadership in facilitating collaborative processes at multiple levels

Effectively promotes systems improvement at the local, State, tribal, and Federal levels
